WikiWe is stewarded by uRULEu Institute, a nonprofit organization, as the neutral home for the protocol's specifications, conformance profiles, and certification program. uRULEu does not operate Hubs, hold member data, or run a commercial platform — its role is to keep the protocol usable by more than one Administrator, on equal terms.

Ricardiam, WikiWe's reference Administrator, is the commercial platform where Hubs are actually hosted and administered day to day. WikiWe is the protocol; Ricardiam is one implementation of it, not the only one that can exist.
